Important: Software focused Business Analysis Role Working on In-House Developed Platform

Job Specification

Working with an international team on an in-house developed, award-winning Cyber Security platform, the successful candidate will shape and document business requirements and act as a bridge between the product and customer requirements. Operating in an Agile / Scrum environment, the Business Analyst is expected to:

- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and demos
- Gather and write up business requirements in the form of user stories
- Liaise with implementation managers and internal & external customers
- Prioritise functional and non-functional business requirements
- Undertake tasks as part of the SDLC
- Evaluate critically gathered information and requirements
- Provide support to the development team through bringing clarity and context to delivery functionalities

The Business Analyst will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, a strong background in software environments, will be able to break big epics down into actionable, independent user stories, and will also possess strong knowledge of interpreting customer requirements into functional, clear requirements. Ideally, the successful Business Analyst will:

- Have knowledge of certain areas or products in Cyber Security (eg. Security Testing, GRC, Incident Response etc)
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum / Devops delivery models
- A development / programming background
