Opportunity to work with a rapidly growing UK Technology company who specialise in developing secure communication solutions for national security clients.

The Role

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be tasked with building and maintaining a critical cyber threat detection and response capability.

You will develop complex data ingestion, analysis and visualisation pipelines as well as develop and maintain knowledge of the relevant architecture to collect data from deployed systems and services.

You will have a senior Analyst alongside you but may be required to provide some support on monitoring activities which is likely to be focused on data, post-incident, to communicate to internal teams to aid investigations.

Skills

Alongside the ability to gain the relevant level of Security Clearance (details on request) you will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail as well as communication and organisational skills.

Essential

• Experience with threat detection and tools
• Incident response
• Data ingestion and analysis

Beneficial

• Hands on experience with ELK Stack / Elastic Certified
• Knowledge of ISO27001 / NIST / SANS
