Copello have partnered with an Air Traffic Management services provider based in Shawbury, in the recruitment of a Flight Simulator Operator. The successful candidate will support the simulator team which replicates the type of ATC scenarios that a future military Air Traffic Controller is likely to meet, either in a Radar or Airfield situation.

The role will include:

• Create and execute realistic Air Traffic Management scenarios through effective operation of PC based simulators.
• Work as part of a team with a high dependency on effective liaison and planning.
• Respond effectively to requested scenarios within individual training exercises.
• Maintain effective communications.
• Work constructively with other members of the Flight Simulator Operator department and our customer.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally:

• Possess the ability to work effectively on several tasks at a time.
• Be able to use initiative and solve problems in a timely manner.
• Be enthusiastic with a willingness and aptitude to learn.
• Willingness to undergo Security Clearance.
• Possess a high level of computer literacy.
• Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
• A positive team-working ethic.
• Customer focused.

This is a permanent, full-time role and on offer is a base salary of up to £19K.
