Procurement Assistant / Junior Buyer


F/T, perm

Up to £25,000pa plus benefits including 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance, income protection, private health insurance.


We are currently looking to appoint a Procurement Assistant to join a unique organisation based just outside Salisbury, Wiltshire. Set in a stunning, countryside location the role is offered on a permanent basis.

This is an administrative post within a growing team and the post holder and the key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Processing purchase requests
  • Product sourcing and price negotiation
  • Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received.
  • Product queries, credits and returns
  • Day to day correspondence with suppliers; deliveries and chasing outstanding orders
  • Point of contact for internal queries about purchases into the business


Candidates should have a strong administrative background and be able to work in a reactive setting. Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels is required so a good command of written and spoken English is essential.
