Manufacturing Engineer

Copello are delighted to have partnered with an global engineering business based in Portsmouth.

Due to growth in their department, our client is now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

Role responsibilities

• Implement new manufacturing technologies and methods
• Liaise with other engineering departments to implement best practice
• Act as a technical expert in manufacturing development
• Create and maintain CADCAM program
• Responsible for analysing and developing manufacturing methods, tools, systems and facilities within the business.

Role requirements

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
• Background in manufacturing processes – ideally with exposure to CADCAM
• Experience/Knowledge of ISO/EIA, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol Matrix
• Experience with and a solid understanding of Continuous Improvement
• Background working within engineering, defence, marine, aerospace will be considered.
