Business Analyst

Copello have partnered with an established financial services business in the recruitment of a Business Analyst. This role is based in Bracknell and is offering a salry of up to £45K (DOE).

Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for information gathering, analysis and business requirements definition for the financial Systems

•    Elicit requirements using appropriate methods such as interviews or workshops.

•    Documentation of key Change Management deliverables such as Project plans, Business Case, User stories, BPMN.

•    Responsible for managing and progressing changes assigned from elicitation through to implementation.

•    Participate in Change Management including raising Change Requests, liaising with external suppliers, assisting with test and release planning.

•    Identify and complete configuration Change Requests

•    Be the liaison between business users, external suppliers and technical support teams.

•    Understand and document process flows within the business in order to identify potential efficiencies and suggest improvements, challenging business users where appropriate.

•    Assist in the creation and management of test plans which align with business requirements along with the Production Support & Test Manager

Qualifications, skills and experience:

Required

•    A good understanding of Business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques - 1-2 years of experience required

•    Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills

•    Ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner to business users

•    Self-motivated with good organisational and planning skills

•    Analytical and structured, able to listen and understand business needs and transform these into clear and effective requirements.

•    Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from various levels of management

•    Experience of Microsoft Office and Project, Jira and Jira x-ray and exposure to Document management systems and workflow.

Desirable

•    BCS accreditation 

•    Agile experience
