Copello are pleased to be partnered with a leading technology organisation, delivering advanced network solutions and communication technologies to both commercial and government customers globally. They are now looking for a Junior Project Manager to join their growing team.


The Junior PM will lead and support in the delivery of projects to customers, providing clear direction and support to project stakeholders throughout the Project Lifecycle.


Duties and responsibilities will include:


  • Defining the Product Breakdown Structure, Work Breakdown Structure and Work Packages for projects, translating these into time-phased project schedules complete with agreed labour and materials estimates.
  • Identifying project risks and opportunities, including mitigation actions and mitigation action costs, impact assessments on schedule, labour and/or material costs where risks impact or opportunities can be realised.
  • Monitoring the completion of schedule activities daily.
  • Accountability for the on time, to cost and quality delivery of given project(s).
  • Continually reviewing resource availability to highlight potential shortfalls and pinch-points.
  • Attending mandatory weekly PM and monthly project reviews.
  • Providing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management
  • Attending meetings, supporting action completion, clearly communicating instructions and direction to project teams.


To be considered for this role, you will have:


  • A recognised Project Management qualification – APM, PRINCE2, Agile or similar*
  • Experience working in a project management team who are successful in the delivery of technical projects.
  • Experience of Stakeholder Management.
  • Effective time management and project planning skills.
  • Experience and ability to prepare detailed project plans using MS Project.
  • The ability to set up, monitor and control project cost budgets.
  • A working knowledge of risk management in project delivery would be beneficial.
  • Experience in delivering projects in a Manufacturing (Production) environment is desirable.
  • A full UK Driving Licence


*Training and development will be provided for this role if not yet fully qualified.


The role is based out of their site in Basingstoke and is offering a competitive salary of £30-40K (DoE) plus benefits package, training and development.
