About us

I’m Russell, Founder of Copello. After being in the Recruitment industry since 2005, I took the plunge to start Copello in 2018; wanting to reset the industry’s approach to the market and create a new benchmark for talent solutions. I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients to provide a long-term, sustainable talent solution and it’s been a pleasure to work with our customers to help to find great talent and establish their employee brand.

Outside of work I enjoy watching football, both my son’s team and national games, I am also partial to a craft beer and a walk with my family.

I am Lisa, Director of Copello. I started my career in recruitment straight from Uni in 2004. A few years after becoming a mum I was ready for a new challenge. Working alongside Russell we have been able to focus on recruiting and organically growing an amazing team whilst staying true to what we all value, and our purpose. Our focus is relationship first. We want our customers to feel like we genuinely value them, because we do.

I am a dedicated mum to my young daughter and love nothing more than spending time with her outdoors or near the sea, which is my favourite place to be. 

I joined Copello in January 2021 with 14 years of prior recruitment experience within permanent and contract recruitment services. As Client Services Director, I build strong client relationships through honesty, transparency, and a passionate, focused approach, delivering exactly what I say I will, whilst bringing enthusiasm to the working environment.

Outside of work, I’m family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my husband, son and dogs, Polly and Percy. A food enthusiast and qualified PT, I balance family life with fitness, often in the gym or running around the South Coast!

I have been in Recruitment since 2006, working for both corporates and SMEs, all within Technical Engineering.

Having watched Copello since its inception, I was delighted to join to help drive the business forward, building on an already incredibly successful brand. Copello is a business that shares my values, putting its staff first and providing the best environment to flourish.

Outside of work I am dad to two young children, on the rare occasion I can escape I can generally be found on the golf course enjoying a few hours peace.

I have worked in the Recruitment Industry since 2006 and have been fortunate to work with some amazing companies across a number of industries, with a specialism in contract recruitment across engineering skills. I work with each of my clients closely to build working relationships based on honesty and full transparency.  I pride myself on having a relentless, passionate approach, delivering exactly what I say I will, when I say I will.

Outside of work you will either find me on the Golf Course, out walking the dog, or just spending time with my family.

I joined Copello in 2021, having previously worked in Recruitment Marketing for over 11 years, gained from SMEs and corporate agencies across the South Coast.

I decided to make the move to Copello after seeing their continued growth and success over the years and genuinely falling in love with the Copello brand and everything it stands for.

At the weekends I like to stay active and love being outside, whether its running, walking my beloved dog Bodi or shouting from the side-lines at my son’s football matches!

Hi, my name is Kerry and I am the Business Operations Manager for Copello. I joined in August 2022 as Office Manager and developed my skills in finance, resulting to promotion.

My background is in Leisure, Travel and Events along with a wealth of administration experience. I’m highly organised and take pride in being a perfectionist. I fully commit to all tasks and get great pleasure in helping others. Outside of work I love to keep busy by spending time with my family and friends, travelling abroad, walking my dog and going to the gym.

Hi, I’m Myles, a Recruitment Consultant with a primary focus within Information Security.  I joined Copello in 2020, and now work remotely from Sweden where I live with my family.

I have enjoyed working in the sector for the past 5 years. The people, the stories and its community is like no other sector and represent some of the core reasons of wanting to stay for years to come.

When I’m not recruiting, I’m busy renovating our home, spending time with my wife and young son and hiking the local forest with our dog.

I joined Copello in 2021. In my current position, I focus within the contract/interim market providing technical specialists across government, defence and engineering. I enjoy the fast-paced work within the contract market, as well as building strong relationships with the best talent in the market to support our clients.

In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit in the gym, socialising with friends in the local pubs. I spend time watching sports, I particularly enjoy football and I am a long-suffering Arsenal fan, though I do enjoy watching my local team Portsmouth at Fratton Park.

Hi I’m Aaron, I’ve been in recruitment since 2018, starting out by supporting large Tier 1 Consultancies across the UK’s Water industry, focusing on Engineering, Commercial, and Design teams. Since joining Copello in 2024, I have developed my expertise in the Defence, Engineering and Security sectors building strong, long-lasting relationships and delivering a service that adds real value.

Outside of work, life is just as busy—I’m a dad to three boys, if I’m not running around after them, you’ll find me sneaking in some fishing. I also play Australian football and Rugby for local teams.

Hi, I’m Josh, I have worked within Recruitment for over five years. During this time, I’ve operated across Permanent, Contract and Bespoke Search Agreements within Highways, Defence and Aviation.

Outside of work I play 5-a-side football and I’m always attempting to be a golfer, which being honest, very rarely works out! I have a strong interest in watching both Football and Rugby, holding a season ticket for my home city club!

I joined Copello in May 2024 with a couple of years recruitment experience in the Automotive industry and previous work in Sales within Insurance and Telecoms. Since starting at Copello I have worked within contract recruitment building my plan within the Defence and Aerospace sector and enjoy the different skillsets we get to recruit for on a daily basis.

Outside of work I play a lot of football and golf which keeps me busy and I’m regularly let down by my team Arsenal which is getting increasingly more difficult in the office!

I’ve been part of the Copello team for 3 years, starting as a part-time recruitment resourcer while completing my undergraduate degree. After earning my master’s in project management, I now work as a Partnership Relationship Manager.

Outside of work, I love cooking, city breaks, and trying out a new roast dinner spot most Sundays!

I joined Copello in 2024 as a Senior Partnership Delivery Consultant, bringing 5 years of technical recruitment experience in engineering and construction across the UK and US. I excel in building strong relationships with top clients and high-quality candidates, with expertise in full-cycle recruitment, account management, and mentoring. I’m excited to continue recruiting in the dynamic Defence industry!

Outside of work, I stay active with weight training and swimming and enjoy unwinding with good food and a beer or Aperol spritz!

My recruitment journey began in 2014, focusing on Life Sciences, QA, and Engineering/Manufacturing. Now, I apply my expertise in the Engineering and Defence sectors, specialising in permanent roles. Known for being hardworking and dedicated, I strive to provide exceptional service to both clients and candidates.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to a lively 5-year-old son, and we love spending time outdoors. I also enjoy socialising with friends, savouring good food, and relaxing with a glass of wine and my partner.

Hey, I’m Daryl, I have over 4 years recruitment experience. With a diverse background, my primary focus has been in the defence and aviation sectors. I find great joy in connecting candidates with their dream roles, and my goal is to help create a future where everyone enjoys their work as much as I do.

Outside of recruitment, you’ll find me at the gym, experimenting in the kitchen, or chilling in front of the TV with my rabbit, Neil.

I’m Emma, a Partnership Account Manager with over 5 years of experience in recruitment for the defence and engineering sectors. I love my job because it allows me to help clients find the right people and assist candidates in landing their dream roles.

Outside of work, you’ll find me at the gym or exploring new places, especially in cities like London, where I’m always on the hunt for great spots to enjoy dinner. I’m passionate about setting and smashing goals, both personally and professionally, while building strong, meaningful connections along the way.
