Aish Technologies’ association with the Defence and Security industries goes back to before the advent of the Second World War.
During that conflict, Aish became involved in supplying electrical infrastructure for naval vessels being built in its home town of Poole.
Today, Aish Technologies is a world leading supplier Naval and Military electronics hardware, Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) systems, Rugged Enclosures, Electronics Cabinets, Flat Screen Displays and Bridge Consoles. The majority of the companies turnover is within the Defence and Security markets. As part of the companies strategic growth policy, Aish is looking to expand its portfolio into the Nuclear and Space markets.
Our portfolio of products is enhanced by an Engineering facility with the skills and expertise to design specialist electronics and electromechanical systems and assemblies for use in harsh naval and military environments. These disciplines are described in more detail in the capabilities area.
Our Engineering and Manufacturing teams have gained a wealth of experience in both Naval & Land Systems from working on major Defence projects either for the UK Ministry of Defence or other Prime Contractors and Major System Integrators such as BAE Systems, Babcock International Group, Raytheon, MBDA Missile systems, Thales, Electric Boat and Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine.
In addition to our current portfolio of products and services, we are able to support Legacy Products incorporating obsolescence issues should they arise.
Whether you want to further your career, commence an apprenticeship or are simply looking for work in the field of electromechanical design and manufacturing, we offer a multitude of opportunities.
Aish Technologies’ policy is to train and develop its staff whenever possible to meet future needs and to encourage staff to reach their full potential. The success and wealth of any company is dependent upon its staff, and in the challenging environment of design and manufacturing the needs of the company, and the skills required by the staff, are continually changing.
We want our staff to enjoy long and rewarding careers with Aish (and judging by the extremely low staff turnover, we have succeeded). We encourage internal progression for all our people, resulting in employee advancement.
It is Aish’s policy to assist its staff in their professional development with opportunities to work on exciting projects, supported by continuing training and provision for staff to pursue vocational and professional qualifications.
