Who are Aquila?.
Aquila Air Traffic Management Services (ATMS) was formed in 2014 as a joint venture. We took the niche capabilities of our parent companies & industry giants, NATS & Thales, and created an agile, unique business driven by experts. Our mission was to deliver a £1.5 billion, 22 year contract awarded to us by the MOD.
Aquila is responsible for providing a whole range of state of the art ATM solutions. We maintain and operate lots of exciting technology at airbases throughout the UK and Overseas. Fundamentally, work towards delivering Programme Marshall enables all military aviation to safely and efficiently discharge their missions around the globe.
Beyond Programme Marshall, we are continually growing our capabilities to take on new projects and contracts.
Our workforce of exceptional individuals is absolutely at the heart of Aquila’s ability to push forward and shape the future of ATM solutions.

Equal Opportunities Employer.
At Aquila, we believe the key to unlocking potential is feeling respected and included at work. We recognise the ATM industry is traditionally non-diverse, we are committed to giving equal opportunities.
We have a solid foundation of policies, practices and processes, designed to prioritise fairness and equitability, and to offset the disadvantages certain groups have historically faced. It is essential that our Recruitment Process allows equal opportunity to all, which is why we have partnered with Thomas International.
We’re helping to reduce the likelihood of bias by using objective, scientific behavioural assessments to give an indication of attitude and aptitude to compliment the selection process.
Our Culture.
The environment is fast-paced, dynamic and challenging; there’s no doubt you will learn lots from the brilliant people you’ll work with. The phrase “no two days are the same” has never been more appropriate! Aquila is an organisation full of opportunity. As we evolve, we listen to our people, and look after them.
Our open culture, flexible working and life-friendly policies strive to protect your wellbeing and life-work balance, and ensure poor mental health is not considered to be inevitable collateral damage.
