Please note with the forthcoming changes in umbrella legislation (April 2026) that bring joint and several liability across the recruitment supply chain some of our clients also operate their own Preferred Supplier list, and any selected will need to be on both lists. Limited Company Insurance.
If you are engaged as a limited company contractor working outside of IR35 with Copello you are required to provide proof of certain levels of insurances that protect you and your clients. This includes Professional Indemnity, Public Liability. Levels required for all Limited Company Contractors unless advised differently are:
- Employers’ Liability Insurance £5,000,000 per claim
- Public Liability Insurance £1,000,000 per claim
- Professional Indemnity Insurance £1,000,000 per claim
