Copello are now looking for a Senior CAD Designer on behalf of a Defence Prime who are delivering on current gen and next-gen programmes.
This is a unique role working on the primary structure of a Submarines, with a fantastic opportunity to enhance your design skills, getting involved in the design and production of the 3D model of the entire boat.
This includes the shell plate, all steelwork decks, bulkheads and compartmentation, as well as major castings, seating and mounting arrangements.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience within a Design role from a high hazadrous industry such as Civil Structures, Marine and Oil & Gas.
- Use of CAD packages, particularly FORAN, NX and Solidworks.
- Communication Skills and team collaboration.
