As a Systems Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading a team of talented engineers across a range of cutting-edge programmes and R&D initiatives. You’ll be instrumental in driving strategic growth, developing technical solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of 10 Systems Engineers across multiple programmes
- Drive technical proposals, bid responses, and system requirements analysis
- Oversee systems design, integration, verification, and validation processes
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, suppliers, and strategic partners
- Shape the future of technology through product and capability roadmaps
- Degree in Engineering (or related field)
- Experience leading systems engineering teams and technical proposals
- Strong background in full product development lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Eligibility for UK MOD Security Clearance (SC level minimum)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of radar systems, modelling & simulation, or certification processes
- Salary of £78k
- 10.5% pension contribution
