We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing consultancy within aerospace & defence for work in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering, particularly in the productionisation and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. The products integrate mechanical components and electronics/PCBs, so a versatile skill set is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage productionisation and NPI projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience with productionisation and NPI.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills, with experience in products that include mechanical and electronics/PCB elements.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-site in 4-5 days per week
