We are looking for a proactive and innovative Procurement/Supply Chain Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This role is crucial in defining and implementing supply chain plans for new products. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to challenge suppliers to meet demanding deadlines and think creatively to find effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and define supply chain plans for new product introductions.
- Engage with suppliers to ensure challenging deadlines are met, using imaginative and effective problem-solving skills.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) with suppliers and manage the procurement process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work on-site in High Wycombe 3-4 days per week
