Landing Craft Advisor

Join our client as a Landing Craft Advisor and play a critical role in shaping the future of maritime autonomy.

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable individual to advise on the development of cutting-edge landing craft and UXV programs, valued at over £1B+. As a valued contributor to our diverse team, you will inform, influence, and develop elements of design, operational concepts, build, marine engineering, advanced technologies, and human factors to create outstanding products that meet the needs of the Royal Navy and UK Commando Force. Required Skills

• Royal Marines Landing Craft Operator – RM Officer, Warrant Officer, or SNCO with deep and broad experience of operating all forms of Royal Marines LC, notably LCU, LCVP, CRC, and IRC
• RM LC interoperability with RN shipping and internationally, e.g., USN, RNLN, RAN
• Deep understanding of the operational context and use of Landing Craft in the harshest of environments
• Detailed knowledge of the detailed running and maintenance of Landing Craft
• Ability to drive improvements in all areas across designs that the customer will value

Preferred Education and Experience

• Relevant military experience, preferably in the Royal Marines or Royal Navy
• Strong understanding of naval architecture, engineering, and technology
• Experience in programme management, systems integration, and human factors

Other Requirements

• Ability to travel to various locations, including the UK and overseas
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
