Copello are recruiting for a Component Engineer to join a defence organisation on an initial 12 month basis.
As the Component Engineer you will be supporting activities within the Avionics department.
Duties of the Component Engineer include:
The Component Engineer will be required to be on site 4 days a week. Role is inside IR35 paying circa £50 -£65 per hour.

- Authoring and change control of BOM's , Bill of Design and the Parts Management Control Plans
- Providing technical support for electronic, electrical, mechanical and material commodities
- Management of hardware configuration logbooks
- Obsolescence management
- Experience within a defence/aerospace or military organisation
- Knowledge of standards such as Mil Hdbk 217 or 338 or the equivalent
- Obsolescence management
- Design for manufacturing or assembly
- Experience of working with mechanical, electrical or electronics commodities
