Copello are recruiting for an ILS Engineer on an initial 12 month basis to join an organisation in the Buckinghamshire area. 

As the ILS Engineer you will be working within the Avionics team on a exciting programme. 

Duties of the ILS Engineer include:
  • Execution of reliability predictions, reliability centred maintenance & testability reports.
  • Definition of reliability test programmes
  • Meeting with suppliers/customers to providing supporting documentation and presentation prep
  • Reporting of progress issues and escalation of any technical issues
The successful ILS Engineer will have the following experience:
  • Experience of MIL-HDBK-217F & MIL-HDBK-2165
  • Exposure to RF electronic systems (desirable)
  • Defence/Avionics/military
  • Risk & Configuration experience
  • Understanding of EMC testing requirements
Due to the nature of the work candidates will require valid SC or eligibility for SC clearance.

This role will require 4 days onsite. 

This role is inside IR35 and paying £55 -£65 per hour.

This role would be suitable for a Supportability Engineer or ILS Engineer or Reliability Engineer.
