Commercial Manager

Copello are recuiting for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead a clients  commercial strategy and ensure the delivery of their programmes.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing the existing commercial landscape, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing approaches that drive the right outcomes for the department. You will work closely with suppliers, programme finance leads, and other stakeholders to negotiate contracts, manage financial models, and drive cost savings.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in commercial management, with a strong understanding of commercial strategies and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex commercial landscapes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Experience in managing supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and management
• Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage financial models and drive cost savings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in programme management, with a strong understanding of programme delivery and commercial strategies
• Knowledge of commercial software and systems, such as contract management tools and financial planning software
• Experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
