Copello are looking for a Software Verification Engineer to join a defence organisation in the Buckinghamshire area on an initial 6 month contract. 

The Software Verification Engineer will be assisting with installation, verification, configuration and testing of new and existing software products. Software products include COTS applications and internally developed applications.

The Software Verification Engineer will be contributing to the wider systems ITEA solutions. 

Duties of the Software Verification Engineer include:
  • Application of disciple domain knowledge to the development, integration and testing of software
  • Participate in verification/verification activities related to the use of software application
  • Support the creation of test plans. procedures relevant to the software suite
  • Management of test results, successes and failure management as well as providing evidence outputs to meet required outcomes
  • Investigation of faults identified and associated debugging and rectification
The successful Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
  • Defence/Electronic Warfare/Comms/RADAR experience
  • Experience of developing production software
  • Experience of design, coding, debugging, reviewing and testing software
  • Experience of C++/C# software development
  • Experience of Windows & Linux
  • Implementing network solutions including TCP networking
  • Comfortable working within project environments
This role will require candidates to have SC clearance or eligibility for SC.

This role is offering hybrid working , (3 days week on average) and is paying circa £75 per hour inside IR35.
