In this role, you'll be a core member of the safety team, responsible for driving key safety engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle — from early-stage design through to operational support. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support system safety assessments across software and hardware domains
- Perform and review safety analyses, including HAZOP, FTA, FMEA/FMECA, and LOPA
- Work collaboratively across engineering teams to embed safety into every stage of development
- Support certification and assurance processes in line with defence and industry safety standards
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong background in functional or systems safety engineering
- Experience working on high-integrity, safety-critical systems
- Familiarity with MoD, maritime, or aerospace standards (desirable)
- Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
