The PowerOn Specialist will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining the connection methods with the PowerON Advantage system. The primary objective is to extract data from digital and analog variables, as well as events, with the required periodicity, and store it in a cloud database (e.g., Timescale or similar).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with PowerOn Control and/or PowerOn Advantage platforms
  • Strong understanding of PowerOn database structures and data transformation
  • Knowledge of electric distribution systems (MV/LV) is desirable
  • Experience integrating PowerOn with IT and OT systems, especially Historian Systems
  • Familiarity with telecontrol communication protocols:
  • IEC 61850
  • DNP3
  • Modbus
  • IEC 101/104
  • ICCP
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data manipulation and customization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to support real-time control room operations
