Role: Project Engineer
Location: Bristol - 2-3 days per week on-site
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Are you a motivated engineer eager to work on the UK’s first Laser Directed Energy Weapon (LDEW) system?
Copello have partnered with a leading defence company. They are looking for a Project Engineer (RMO) to lead the delivery and integration of cutting-edge Command & Control Processing Units and supporting hardware.
Role:
- Deliver rack-mounted systems including processing units and integrated subsystems
- Define cabling, wiring, and interconnect solutions between equipment
- Ensure hardware compliance, certification, and technical documentation
- Serve as the technical interface between the project team and internal/external suppliers
- Experience in hardware delivery, system integration, or project engineering
- Knowledge of defence, aerospace, or high-security systems
- UK citizen (or dual UK nationality) eligible for security clearance
- Salary: £50k–£60k + up to 21% bonus
- Pension contribution of up to 14%
- Flexible hybrid working (2–3 days on-site)
