The Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead on nuclear safety regulation across major UK programmes. You’ll provide strategic advice on licensing, compliance, and radiological safety—ensuring the highest standards in a complex, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on nuclear legislation, site licensing, and regulatory compliance

• Manage regulatory interfaces and permissioning processes

• Oversee nuclear safety governance and assurance frameworks

• Lead safety case development, radiological protection, and documentation

• Drive organisational change and develop nuclear competency frameworks

• Promote a strong nuclear safety culture through leadership and oversight

What We’re Looking For

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Nuclear regulation and licensing frameworks

• Safety governance, policy, and challenge mechanisms

• Regulatory engagement and assurance systems

• Organisational change and capability development

• Radiological protection, SAT-based training, and safety case methodologies
