Copello is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join a leading defence organisation in Buckinghamshire on an initial 6-month contract. This role will be instrumental in managing the development and delivery of advanced electronic sub-systems for defence applications.

The role will require onsite working for 4 days a week.
Position is INSIDE IR35 and paying circa £80 per hour.

Key Responsibilities Within This Role Include:
- Lead the design, development, and integration of electronic sub-systems.
- Perform testing, characterisation, and verification of prototype designs.
- Work hands-on with laboratory test equipment including VNAs, RF spectrum analysers, and oscilloscopes.
- Manage aspects of project engineering, ensuring electronic solutions meet performance, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Support system-level integration and troubleshooting of electronic designs.
- Deliver electronic subsystems from prototype through to production readiness.
- Proven background in electronic design engineering within RF, high-speed digital, or power supply electronics.
- Strong knowledge of RF technologies and RF antenna systems.
- Practical experience in the use of electronic test equipment (VNA, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes).
- Previous involvement in the full product development lifecycle, from design through to verification and delivery.
- Ability to contribute to both technical engineering and project engineering activities.
- Experience within the defence or aerospace sector.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.
