What you will be doing
You will play a hands-on role in managing the facilities, infrastructure, and assets of WDSL. Using your technical expertise, supported by a network of suppliers and subcontractors, you will ensure maximum availability of equipment in a safe, cost-effective, and world-class manner.
You will work in line with WDSL’s goals, targets, and statutory obligations, coordinating activities to meet operational and compliance requirements. From day-to-day maintenance to long-term improvements, you will help secure the reliability and efficiency of our facilities.

As Facilities and CNC Maintenance Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping to improve and maintain the availability of all CNC and Manual machinery, plant and infrastructure at all facilities through a programme of Preventative Maintenance.
- To implement current HSE legislation including certification, monitoring and inspection in areas of responsibility.
- To assist in the maintenance of the building security of all facilities.
- To ensure the availability of facilities, equipment and machinery to maximise productivity of the business.
- To be actively be involved with the delivery of projects relating to facilities to schedule, cost and agreed requirements.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Minimum 7 - 10 years’ experience in a maintenance / facilities management environment.
- Experienced in preventative (and reactive) maintenance of manual and CNC machining centres is an essential.
- Hands on experience of Hydraulics /Pneumatics /Electrics /Mechanical is advantageous.
- Proven experience of working within large and complex projects.
- Proven teamwork and lone working experience.
- PC Literate (Microsoft) and Complex Maintenance Programmes. SAP experience is desirable.
