Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business in the recruitment of a Head of Sales. This role can be based out of several locations, including Hampshire and Gloucestershire.
You’ll lead a skilled sales team, develop the market strategy, and build a robust pipeline that drives sustainable business growth. Working closely with technical and delivery leaders, you’ll ensure customer needs are met through innovative, high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver sales strategy and plans aligned to business goals.
- Build and manage a reliable pipeline with accurate forecasting.
- Develop strong customer and partner relationships.
- Lead and coach a high-performing sales team.
- Represent the business at key industry and customer events.
- Ensure sales governance and effective risk management.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong background in business development or sales leadership.
- Track record of winning major programmes or campaigns.
- Understanding of Defence or complex technology markets.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and sales forecasting.
- Experienced in leading high-performing teams.
