Our Client is looking for two Senior Electrical Design Engineers to join their team and lead the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge electrical systems for mission-critical defense applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design activities throughout the entire lifecycle of defense projects, from concept to deployment.
- Develop detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts for complex electrical systems.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including systems, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Ensure all designs meet MOD and industry standards such as DEF STAN and MIL-STD.
- Conduct rigorous design reviews, risk assessments, and support testing and validation procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in electrical design within the defense or aerospace sectors.
- Deep understanding of EMC, power distribution, and signal integrity principles.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Valid UK DV clearance (active or eligible).
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ruggedized systems and designing for harsh environments.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and lifecycle documentation processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Significant industry experience, ideally 5+ years in defense or aerospace projects involving electrical design.
Other Requirements:
- Active UK DV security clearance.
- Ability to work on-site at secure defense facilities.
