Copello are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and supplier management activities within a fast-growing advanced manufacturing environment in Swindon.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing end-to-end procurement activities across direct and indirect spend categories

Developing and executing sourcing strategies to support operational requirements

Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships and performance management processes

Negotiating pricing, contracts, lead times, and service level agreements
-
Mitigating supply chain risks and driving continuity of supply
-
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and business growth
-
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supplier performance
Key requirements include:

Significant procurement experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment

Strong supplier management and commercial negotiation skills

Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and procurement processes

Knowledge of supply chain risk management and inventory optimisation
-
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
-
MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience desirable

Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance
