HR Advisor (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Glasgow Area (Hybrid Working – 2-3 Days Onsite)
Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading engineering organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative HR team, supporting business leaders through organisational change, workforce planning, and a broad range of people-related initiatives.
Working within a complex, fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in delivering people strategies that support business objectives, enhance organisational effectiveness, and improve the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support organisational design and workforce transformation activities, including restructures, role design, workforce planning, and operating model reviews.
- Partner with managers and senior stakeholders to identify organisational needs and develop practical HR solutions.
- Provide guidance and support across a wide range of HR matters, including absence management, performance management, employee relations, talent development, and organisational change.
- Analyse people data and workforce metrics to identify trends, benchmark performance, and inform decision-making.
- Contribute to strategic people projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the wider HR function.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a consistent and commercially focused HR service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a generalist HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering role.
- Strong organisational design and change management experience, including involvement in restructures and workforce transformation projects.
- Experience working within large, complex organisations with multiple stakeholder groups.
- The ability to interpret and utilise people data to support recommendations and business decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
