Assistant Engineering Manager - Defence
Location: Surrey or Hampshire (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary: Up to £50,000.
Please note, this role requires eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Engineering Manager to support the delivery of complex engineering projects within a highly regulated environment. Working alongside experienced technical leaders, you'll help coordinate engineering activities and ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engineering activities.
- Coordinate technical tasks across multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor project risks and support mitigation activities.
- Contribute to design reviews and engineering governance.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
- Experience in Systems, Software or a similar engineering discipline.
- Understanding of engineering lifecycle and governance processes.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities within a technical project environment.
- Relevant Engineering or STEM qualification preferred.
