Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience maintaining and fault-finding on SCADA and PLC control systems
- Strong electrical and control systems knowledge, including PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and industrial communications
- Experience performing routine planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault response
- Ability to diagnose faults, undertake repairs, support commissioning activities, and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Automation, or related engineering discipline
- Full UK driving license
- Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota, if required
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a maintenance environment with emergency repairs
- Knowledge of industrial communications protocols
- Previous experience with commissioning projects
Preferred Education & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in relevant engineering disciplines
- Prior experience in a similar maintenance or control systems role within industrial, utility, or infrastructure sectors
