Copello are recruiting for a Programme Planner to join a defence organisation in Buckinghamshire on an inital 6 month contract.
The Programme Planner will joining a legacy project to provide development for the programmes planning and controlling capability. You will a vital part of project planning team implementing robust plans & controls to ensure that project completion to the clients specifications.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Taking lead on planning activities as well as the development of intergrated schedules
- Integrating plans with key suppliers into the IMS
- Providing reports on variations. remedial actions
- Identification of options to optimise project delivery through resource smoothing/levelling as well rescheduling activities
- Reporting project progress and updates within internal stakeholders and clients
- Clear translation of project requirements, prerequisites and constraints within the programme schedule
The successful Programme Planner will require the following experience:
- 3-5 years experience within planning major projects
- DefenceTelecoms or Rail experience
- Expert knowledge of MS Projects and exposure to Primavera P6
- Strong communciation within a client facing role
- Experience of integrate project information into an IMS
- Commercial and analytical individual
- Experience of managing multiple workloads
This role will require 4 days a week on site (Buckinghamshire mainly with possible travel to London) , role is inside IR35 and is offering a flexible hourly rate dependant on experience.
