Safety Case Engineer
Location – Hybrid/Remote, with travel once a month to site.
Salary – DoE.
Due to the nature of the programmes, you must be a sole British national to be eligible for the position.
Copello is working with a rapidly growing business, who have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Engineer to join a team delivering complex projects within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce safety-related engineering documentation and technical reports.
• Support the development of safety cases and safety assessments.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety analyses.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective engineering solutions.
Skills & Experience
• Experience within a safety-critical or regulated industry.
• Understanding of safety engineering principles and risk management techniques.
• Experience producing technical documentation and safety reports.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Desirable
• Safety case development.
• Hazard analysis, FMEA, and risk assessment experience.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and safety standards.
