Role Overview:

Role Overview:

The main duty will be to carry out First Off and Final Inspections of the manufactured components to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
- First off Inspection of fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled parts.
- Stage and Final Inspection of fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled parts.
- Ensuring all work carried out is within customer and industry specifications.
- Producing inspection reports & First Article Inspection to AS9102 requirements.
- Identify and report non-conforming products.
- Supporting MRB (RCCA) activities and maintaining records (Q-Pulse).
- Measuring of components with various hand tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.)
- Ensuring compliance with inspection procedures & keeping relevant records up to date.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
- Ensuring the cleanliness, neatness and orderliness (5S) of his/her area of responsibility.
- Ensure all documentation is in line with customer and business requirements.
- Work closely with quality and production teams to maintain high standards.
- Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company.
- Previous fine limit technical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience using hand measurement tools
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques
- Use of PC and related programmes
- Strong communication skills
- Good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail.
- Results focused.
