Copello have partnered with an established engineering business in the recruitment of a Design Authority, supporting the development, certification and in-service evolution of complex electronic systems used in high-integrity applications.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you'll provide technical leadership across hardware, software and systems engineering, ensuring products continue to meet customer requirements throughout their lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical leadership for complex electronic systems
- Managing product design, development and certification activities
- Supporting system architecture, requirements and verification
- Identifying and managing technical risks and opportunities
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and key stakeholders
- Supporting ongoing product improvements and in-service support
We're looking for candidates with:
- Experience in systems, electronics or software engineering
- Technical leadership or design authority experience within complex engineering projects
- Knowledge of systems engineering and requirements management
- Understanding of hardware/software integration and product verification
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
