A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Developer with full-stack experience to work on a high-profile MoD Training Programme.
This is a hands-on role focused on developing scalable, secure and cloud native applications that will support the strategic aims of a highly impactful programme.
As well as building secure backend services, you will integrate APIs and databases, develop and maintain frontend interfaces and containerise applications using Docker & Kubernetes.
Hybrid Working
2-3 days per week on site in Westbury
Security Clearance
Eligibility for UK SC Clearance will be required
Technical Skills
- Front end – React / Angular
- Backend – combination of Python, Java, Golang or .NET
- Cloud experience – AWS, Azure or MODCloud will all be considered
- Docker & Kubernetes
- CI/CD tools eg. Jenkins
- IaC using Terraform ideally (or CloudFormation)
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work with technical leads, architects and other engineers
- Enthusiastic about applying modern development practices
- Not afraid of failure and sharing lessons with relevant teams
