Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and grow engineering and planning teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Provide feedback and support career development for engineers.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
Project Management & Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
- Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and other stakeholders to define project scope and technical requirements.
- Allocate resources effectively and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency.
Technical Strategy & Innovation:
- Drive technical decision-making, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and secure engineering solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to guide innovation.
- Advocate for best practices in machining and engineering
Process Improvement:
- Implement and refine engineering processes to enhance productivity and quality.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing solutions to optimize workflows.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a bridge between Engineering and leadership, translating technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones to senior management.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure engineering outputs comply with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of quality through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage approved data and technical publications
- Performing of any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or at least 5 years equivalent industry related
- A minimum of 5 years management experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably within a Part 145 organisation with at least 2 years in a leadership or Management role.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
